Joy Glenwright

Joy is a successful entrepreneur who started her first business at age 24. Since then, she has developed and subsequently sold several businesses with products ranging from expert systems development to campaign management software to an internet ISP. She is currently a product and engagement director working with startups to large companies helping them to create dynamic and profound user experiences and products in various industries. Joy has a BS in Management Information Systems from Colorado State University.


Janet Lawson, LMFT

Janet has worked with teens and young adults for many years. She has a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Indiana University and an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University. She worked for years in the film industry and was a Producing Fellow at the American Film Institute. She graduated from UC–Berkeley with a major in Film Studies. As co-founder of Autistry Studios and its CEO/Executive Director, Janet is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives.

Barbara Waite-sm

Barbara Waite

Barbara is a senior human resources consultant with more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries, including life sciences, health care and financial services. She has been an active community volunteer, serving on the board of a professional association and on the parent leadership teams of various public schools, including president of the San Rafael High School public education foundation.


Emily Woods

Emily grew up in the heart of the maker movement helping her family create MAKE Magazine, the Maker Faire, and TechShop. Emily graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz. She is the Member Ambassador for TechShop, Inc., oversees the member experience at TechShop San Francisco, and is currently part of the advance team launching a new TechShop in St. Louis, MO. Emily brings enthusiasm and a full tank of Maker Spirit.
